It is that bitter chill time of year again.
Which could be awful... but it's not because we get to use these beauties!
Winter is probably my favourite time of year makeup wise. You get to breath so much life into an outfit with warm tones that we would naturally steer clear of during our scorching Aussie summers. Also I find I take far more care with my makeup during winter because the rest of the year I would spend most of my casual days in the water where there is no place for makeup or I will be avoiding my face melting off in the sun. So even though it's wet and dreary in the highlands, you can still have fun looking cute with this years cozy make up list at one of the many cafés with your squad!

Oh. My. Goodness! Look at these beautiful colours. I am not going to lie I absolutely love this entire palette, even the names of the colours are absolutely beautiful. It makes me want to giggle. If there ever was such a thing that could make someone go from 18 to about 6 it is Too Faced packaging!
The best part is it looks great out of the packet and on you too. There are shades here to suit every skin tone in winter or summer and they 100% never look or feel bad on anyone! Thus is the perfect cozy makeup and at around $80 AUD I'd say that's good value for money I mean look how many combinations you could pull!

Everyone who's ever found it difficult to find just the right nude lipstick raise your hand now! Not to fear, Charlotte Tilbury has even more perfect shades perfect for even the most pickiest of picky shoppers to find her match. These lipsticks are super moisturising and long lasting which is something I generally look for when hunting for any lip product. Perfect for snuggling up around the camp fire or even taking on pit street.

I've always been skeptical of lash primers. How much more could they possibly do anyway?
Turns out they do a lot as I discovered when I tried this one by Dior out. The length of my eye lashes had no joke doubled instantly and was clear to the naked eye. I was amazed and I found my mascara lasted a hell of a lot longer with it! Along side this Mascara I felt unstoppable. Or at least my eyes screamed I'm unstoppable...

If you were to ask me what is the must have accessory with a truly winter outfit I would instantly respond with a solid red lip. This one by NARS is so pleasing to put on (like a créme caramele) and smells like a French patisserie. It is truly warming to the soul and process outstandingly vivid colour and doesn't leave you feeling dried out much like with other liquid lipsticks.
